Ramanandacharyaji’s Contribution to Society

Jagadguru Ramanandacharya Narendraacharyaji has dedicated his entire life to selfless service. Through the integration of education, healthcare, social reform, humanitarian aid, and spiritual empowerment, he has paved the path for holistic upliftment of society.

Below is a concise overview of 41 major service initiatives implemented under his leadership.

41 Service Initiatives of
Ramanandacharya Narendracharya

 1. Educational Facilities

For underprivileged children from rural and remote areas, he has established free English-medium schools and colleges (affiliated to the CBSE board), offering quality education from nursery to grade twelve.

  2. Veda Pathashalas for Boys

To provide scripturally sound training in Vedic knowledge and priesthood to youth from all castes within Hindu society, Vedic schools have been established. This initiative not only enables the economic empowerment of young individuals but also ensures the preservation and strengthening of dharma, traditions, and rituals.

 3. Vedic Schools for Girls

Independent Vedic schools have been established for girls from all castes, with the aim of involving them in the protection of dharma, elevating their economic status, and enhancing the dignity and recognition of women's power in society.

  4. Ambulance Services

A fleet of 53 ambulances operates 24/7 along national highways, offering free emergency medical transport to accident victims. This service has saved countless lives by ensuring timely hospital access.

 5. Health Camps

During major gatherings at the peethas, free medical camps are organized where expert doctors provide diagnosis and treatment for the poor and needy.

  6. De-Addiction Programs

To liberate the youth—who represent the nation’s future—from the grip of addiction, monthly de-addiction camps are organized. This initiative has successfully helped thousands of young individuals reclaim their lives and begin anew.

 7. Eradication of Superstition

To promote the progress of the country and society, efforts have been made to reach out personally to millions of people trapped in superstition. Through spiritual awakening, a scientific and rational outlook is instilled, leading to an improvement in their mental well-being.

  8. Agricultural Support Initiatives

Needy farmers are provided with free seeds, fertilizers, and agricultural tools, enabling them to become self-reliant and prosperous. This, in turn, strengthens the country’s agricultural economy.

 9. Emergency Relief Services

During natural calamities such as floods, earthquakes, droughts, pandemics, or outbreaks like COVID-19, medicines, clothing, and food grains are distributed. Additionally, sanitation drives are conducted to prevent the spread of disease.

  10. Services for the Differently-Abled

Visually impaired, physically disabled, and hearing-impaired individuals are provided with essential aids such as walking sticks, wheelchairs, prosthetic limbs, and hearing aids, thereby supporting them to live with dignity.

 11. Support for Economically Weaker Sections

To uplift economically weaker and underprivileged families and help them become self-reliant, Jagadguru has launched several initiatives. Under these programs, the following support is provided free of cost:

  • Domestic grain mills (gharghantis)

  • Sewing machines

  • Goats and sheep

  • Cows and buffaloes

  • And other income-generating resources

These initiatives enable poor families to stand on their own feet, achieve economic independence, and gain self-respect and stability in life.

  12. Establishment of Sub-Peethas

To spread Indian culture, values, and the path of devotion far and wide, Jagadguru Ramanandacharya Dakshin Peeth, Nanijdham, has established several sub-peethas across various states. Extensive awareness campaigns on Vedic Sanatan Dharma are conducted directly within the districts under the jurisdiction of these sub-centers. As a result, people experience peace of mind, brotherhood, and the cultivation of noble values.

 13. Propagation of the Path of
Devotion

At the sub-centers of Jagadguru Ramanandacharya Dakshin Peeth, Nanijdham, prayer halls, pilgrims’ accommodations, dharmashalas, and free food centers (annakshetras) have been constructed. Through these efforts, devotion, worship, and service promote mental peace, spiritual progress, and the spirit of universal brotherhood in society.

  14. Wari Festival Celebrations

To educate people about the practices, traditions, festivals, and rituals of Vedic Sanatan Dharma, grand Wari festivals are organized multiple times each year. These festivals draw millions of devotees, creating an atmosphere of love, unity, and harmony. All necessary facilities are provided for the convenience of the attendees during these large gatherings

 15. Global Warming Awareness
Foot March

To address the growing threat of global warming, a foot march called “Vasundhara Paayidindi” is organized annually, involving thousands of youths. These awareness marches aim to educate people about the dangers of climate change. The marches originate in states like Goa, Telangana, and Maharashtra, traveling through nearly every district and covering thousands of kilometers. This campaign runs each year from 11 September to 21 October, concluding at Nanijdham.
