The Enlightenment and Message of Ramanandacharyaji
“Live, and let others live” is the fundamental message of Jagadguru Ramanandacharya Narendraacharyaji. According to him, the human body is a sacred vehicle granted for the attainment of liberation (moksha). Liberation means realizing the truth that “I am not the body; I am the soul”, and living life accordingly—free from the bondage of bodily ignorance. This, he teaches, is the true essence of life.
The human body is uniquely equipped to comprehend knowledge (jñāna), science (vijñāna), and ignorance (ajñāna), because the Supreme Divine Reality (Paramātma) that pervades the cosmos also resides within this very body. Therefore, every individual must strive to experience that divine presence within.
Each person should seek the inner realization of the great Vedic truth: “Aham Brahmāsmi – I am Brahman.” The central focus of all his discourses is this: how a human being, after taking birth, can realize their true Self (sva-svarūpa) and shape their life in alignment with that realization.
